Winning Categories
We will award points to the top three high school teams in the following categories:
- School team with the number of most active contributors
- School team with the most processing time contributed
- School team with the highest ratio of active contributors to students
If your school wins any prizes, the teacher or administrator who registered the team will be responsible for accepting delivery of the prizes.
Also, within each category, the top three credit-earning students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place schools will each receive a $100 gift card from one of the stores or services listed below.
Prize Amounts
Winners will be awarded points that can be used to select items from our prize catalogue. Each school can only place in one category. We will accept the highest placement of a school. Final decisions on which category a school wins in, should they place in more than one category, will be at our discretion. Here’s how points will be distributed.
School Team with the Most Active Contributors
- First Place: 1000 points
- Second Place: 500 points
- Third place: 250 points
School team with the most CPU contributed
- First Place: 1000 points
- Second Place: 500 points
- Third place: 250 points
School team with the highest ratio of active contributors to students
- First Place: 1000 points
- Second Place: 500 points
- Third place: 250 points

You can redeem points for as many of any of these items as you wish.
Final points cost of each item is ultimately dependent on the price and availability of the item at the conclusion of the competition.
